FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 7 FRIDAY INJURY REPORT: RODDY WHITE RULED OUT SUNDAY

As always lots of injury news to get to as we gear up for this weekend in fantasy football Week 7.

-It is going to be a rough day for Matt Ryan Sunday as both RB Steven Jackson and WR Roddy White have been ruled out for Week 7.  White will sit with his high ankle/hamstring injury, while Jackson is having a slow go of it in returning from his own hamstring issue.  They join Julio Jones who already is out for the season.  While we loved Matt Ryan coming into the season in fantasy football terms, the fact he has literally no one else to throw to outside of Tony Gonzalez is a problem.

-Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray is doubtful for Week 7 due to the knee injury he suffered last Sunday.  Joseph Randle is slated to start and get the majority of carries as primary backup Lance Dunbar is out with a hamstring injury.

-By now it is old news that New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been cleared to play in Week 7.  Surely he will have some rust to work off but overall Gronkowski is a must start and greatly boosts the overall value of Tom Brady.

-Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts went on record Friday saying he would play Sunday despite dealing with a painful clavicle injury in his shoulder.  Shorts admitted to having trouble sleeping due to the injury but he vows to give it a go.  While it is not up to Shorts ultimately whether he plays, it is looking like he will be out there.  He is a shaky start though as any kind of hit could send him right back to the sidelines and Justin Blackmon now looks like the top dog in the Jaguars offense.

-Green Bay Packers WR James Jones missed practice again on Friday and is not likely to play Sunday due to the leg injury he suffered last week.  Jones is not on par with teammate Randall Cobb as far as injury severity considering his teammate is out for six weeks with a busted leg.

-Forget about New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola playing Sunday due to the concussion he suffered last Sunday.  While we don't know if Amendola passed the NFL concussion protocol, I find it impossible to believe he will be out there so soon after being knocked out.  I hate to think what this guy will look like when retired.
