With the season approaching the midpoint, here is a look at the updated fantasy football running back rankings.
1. Jamaal Charles: Continues to be a monster in each and every game. Just stay healthy pal.
2. Matt Forte: Has now firmly passed McCoy and is aiming for Charles. What a season.
3. LeSean McCoy: Could he be tiring a bit? Numbers noticeably down since the end of September.
4. Marshawn Lynch
5. Adrian Peterson
6. Frank Gore: Continues to churn out the numbers at advanced age.
7. Knowshon Moreno: Loading up on the touchdowns in this incredible offense. Yeah we said from Day 1 this would be the guy for your to own.
8. Arian Foster: Another hamstring injury scary but production was terrific until that stumble.
9. Eddie Lacy: Rally getting into gear now. Looks like a keeper.
10. Ray Rice: Not getting any consistency going. Can't be two good games back-to-back.
11. Reggie Bush
12. Darren Sproles: Same story, different season. Catches a ton of passes and doesn't run for a ton.
13. Fred Jackson
14. Alfred Morris: Big danger now that Roy Helu playing more than a little and getting goal-line touches.
15. Stevan Ridley: Has to deal with return of Shane Vereen which could hurt his value.
16. Steven Jackson
17. DeMarco Murray
18. Pierre Thomas
19. Doug Martin: Will continue to sink depending how long he is out.
20. Giovani Bernard: Has not eaten into the playing time of the Law Firm enough.
21. Ryan Matthews: Played well the last two games which means he is due to get hurt.
22. Darren McFadden
23. DeAngelo Williams: A bit of a comeback season.
24. Chris Johnson
25. Maurice Jones-Drew
26. Le'Veon Bell
27. Bilal Powell
28. C.J. Spiller
29. Zac Stacy
30. Andre Ellington: Get this kid more touches please.
31. Brandon Jacobs
32. Willis McGahee: Is clearly finished as a quality running back.
