FANTASY FOOTBALL UPDATED QUARTERBACK RANKINGS

With five weeks in the books, time to once again update the fantasy football QB rankings.

1.  Peyton Manning:  Not even a debate right now for the number 1 spot.  50 TD's very much in play.
2.  Drew Brees:  Standard excellence for Brees who himself shows no sign of slowing.
3.  Aaron Rodgers:  Numbers down a bit but that just means Rodgers will go nuts the rest of the way to make up for it.
4.  Tony Romo:  Forget the fact Romo continues to choke in the clutch.  The numbers are off the charts through five weeks.
5.  Matt Ryan:  Very good to this point but you might want to sell high due to loss of Julio Jones and injuries to Roddy White.  Offensive line in shambles also.
6.  Philip Rivers:  Rivers back to his QB 1 ways as the Chargers are throwing it all game, every game.
7.  Tom Brady:  Injuries and inexperience with his receivers hurting the numbers but Rob Gronkowski's imminent return means the arrow will point up.  Trade Ryan for Brady.
8.  Andrew Luck:  Has not lit the world on fire yet but believe me its coming soon.
9.  Matthew Stafford:  Got a glimpse what Stafford would be like without Calvin Johnson.  It wasn't pretty.
10. Michael Vick:  Yes he is hurt again but Vick was putting up big numbers in Chip Kell's offense before his hamstring blew out.
11. Russell Wilson:  He is not a big numbers guy but the overall stats add him to solid play.
12. Robert Griffin III:  Lack of running takes chunk out of value.  Shaking off he rust.
13. Jay Cutler:  Lots of turnovers as always but also lots of yards and TD's.
14. Sam Bradford:  Has made some strides now that he has some talent to throw to this season.
15. Colin Kaepernick:  Told you all to give Kaepernick another year before buying in.  This is why.
16. Ben Roethlisberger:  Throwing for a lot of yards but not too many scores as Steelers fall behind quickly in almost all their games.
17. Cam Newton:  Boy he has ben brutal for the second season in a row the first two months.  Another read option guy who is not playing well.
18. Terrell Pryor:  Has been better than we thought he would be.  Want to see more.
19. Alex Smith:  Limiting turnovers as usual but numbers are never his strength.
20. Andy Dalton:  Has regressed.
21. Jake Locker:  Was doing some nice things before getting hurt.
22. Matt Schaub:  Unbelievably could be benched real soon.  Looks like he is playing scared.
23. Geno Smith:  Great game in spotlight of Monday Night Football versus the Atlanta Falcons.  Tools are there.
24. Ryan Tannehill:  Offensive line is letting him down badly.
25. Joe Flacco:  Ugly all around for Super Bowl MVP.  Was never an every week guy anyway.
26. Carson Palmer:  Looks like he is  ready for retirement.

There you have it.  Let us know your opinions.
