FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 12 ADDS/DROPS

Waiver wire day is Wednesday for most leagues so let's check out who made the cut this week in fantasy football Adds/Drops.

WEEK 12 ADDS

Josh McCown:  All Aaron Rodgers owners should be checking this out as McCown has looked terrific in Jay Cutler's place from the start.  With Cutler possibly out until the playoffs, McCown remains the starter who has the best one-two punch at receiver to toss the football to in Alshon Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall.

Bobby Rainey:  Duh.  Rainey will be the most sought after name off the wire this week after he scored three touchdowns and ran all over the place last Sunday.  While Rainey will likely not come close to that realm of numbers the rest of the season, the kid obviously has some ability and is the clear cut top runner on the Buc's.

Donald Brown:  Brown has played very well the last four weeks while Trent Richardson continues to struggle at a ridiculous level.  It has now gotten to the point where Brown is becoming the featured back in the high-powered Colts offense as his two touchdowns in Week 11 could attest.

Rishard Matthews:  We will sign off on a Matthews signing as the kid has caught 15 balls the last two weeks.  While Cecil Shorts remains the clear top dog in the passing attack for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Matthews is nudging his way into the offense.

Miles Austin:  Austin is back in action this week after basically being out since the start of October with a bum hamstring.  The Cowboys are expected to be involve in a shootout Sunday against the New York Giants so all hands on deck in this one.

Nate Burleson:  Burleson returns for Week 12 after missing over a month after injuries he sustained in a car accident.  The Lions' number 2 wideout was playing very well before the accident and he goes right into one of the more busy passing attacks in the game.

Delanie Walker:  Walker was a monster last Thursday against the Colts after catching 10 passes and a touchdown.  Always underrated in talent while playing behind Vernon Davis in San Francisco, Walker is getting his shot to be the main guy in Tennessee and responding well.  Ryan Fitzpatrick enjoys throwing to the tight end so Walker should continue to shine.

Joel Dreesseen:  This is insurance in case Julius Thomas has to miss the game with a knee injury.  Dreesseen is not a great receiver but anyone who plays in the Denver offense is worth a long look.

WEEK 12 DROPS

Tim Wright:  One catch in each of the last two games spells doom for Wright.  Mike Glennon looks more comfortable throwing the football down the field so that lessens the appeal of Wright.

Roddy White:  Yes he is back but he is still doing absolutely nothing.  Has turned old overnight.
