FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 10 FRIDAY INJURY REPORT: ARIAN FOSTER OWNERS IN TROUBLE

It is Friday which means its time to check in one last time around the world of fantasy football and those key players who have cloudy injury issues.

-The biggest news of the week came down Friday when it was revealed Houston Texans RB Arian Foster could be done for 2013 as he contemplates back surgery.  Foster has already been ruled out for Week 10 and has missed the majority of the two games prior with the back  and a balky hamstring.  At the start of the season I made it a point to say you should avoid Foster due to the insane amount of work he has had on his body the last four seasons and due to the fact his yards per carry slid to red flag levels last season.  With the Texans now 2-6 and done as playoff contenders, there is no need for the team to risk further injury to Foster.  Foster owners look pretty much screwed right now.

-Finally it is official that Tampa Bay Buc's RB Doug Martin is done for the 2013 season with his torn labrum.  Head coach Greg Schiano had stubbornly said that Martin could possibly return at some point which was a joke.  I said from the beginning Martin was done and now this is finally put to rest.  Mike James has looked good in Martin's place and he will continue to get the majority of carries in his place.  For Martin, this wraps a complete bust of a fantasy football season which no one called.

-Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant continues to be impacted by a bad back that the team says is muscular in its origin.  However Bryant is in no danger of missing any time and will continue to be a top three fantasy football wideout.

-Rashard Mendenhall will return to the Arizona Cardinals this week from his hamstring injury but head coach Bruce Arians reported that he wants to get big-play guy Andre Ellington around 20 touches.  No reason why Arians shouldn't get Ellington at LEAST 20 as the kid has been explosive to say the least.  Keep starting Ellington as a RB 2.

-Indianapolis Colts RB Trent Richardson is listed as questionable to return from a hamstring injury but he did put in a full practice on Friday.  That means Richardson is likely to play so no need to go out and get Donald Brown.  Richardson has been a complete joke this season as I said he would be back in August.  Go back and check.

-Cincinnati Bengals big-play rookie RB Giovani Bernard is expected to play Sunday despite being called questionable.  Bernard comes off a top notch game in Week 9 when he had probably the most awesome looking run of the season.  By next season Bernard will be a clear RB 1 in the mold of LeSean McCoy.

-Jay Cutler will return under center for the Chicago Bears on Sunday as he is now recovered from his groin injury.  Cutler remains a wildly up and down fantasy football QB but with his awesome stable of weapons, overall her deserves another look this season.

There you have it.  As always let us hear your thoughts.
